The Facebook juggernaut rolls on; with no sign that it will run out of steam anytime soon, having recently announced that its mobile phone users now top 500 million, with total active users posted at 931 million.
Zuckerberg and gang are kings of the social network world and with more and more people selling old phones in favour of web-enabled smartphones; access to Facebook has never been easier. Facebook made $1.058 billion in revenue in the first quarter of 2012, up 44.7% from Q1 2012.
If Facebook manages to maintain its current productivity and popularity it is estimated that the social networking site will be in line to $4.69 and $4.81 on each of its 901 million users each year. Evidence if ever it was needed that its billion dollar acquisition of Instagram was merely a drop in the ocean.
